This is my absolutely favorite swap of all time all year round! I had a really bad swap experience over Christmas so I ALMOST didn’t sign up this time around but I am SO glad I did. CGSwaps really know how to run an amazing and wonderful swap!!

This time around my partner was Kristen from Pretty Little Pages, and wow did she make an AWESOME Swap box for me!!!
I got a super sweet note from her, and she mentioned that she went a little overboard because of my problem with the swap over Christmas. Which was super sweet of her!!
She sent me Green Tea Kit Kats, which are her favorite candy and are totally getting added to my Amazon I want list because they are freaking amazing!!!

She says that she loves this whole series, and the follow up series Bloodlines, I love that she picked this books, as one of my goals this year was to actually read all the books in this series!!

I have been wanting to finish this series for almost a year or two now, I loved the first two books, but just never got around to picking up the last one!!
A book she wants to read but hasn’t
I love the way this book sounds, Kristen says that is sounds like Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code for the YA Crowd only better!! So looking forward to this read!
This one makes me know Kristen is a girl after my own heart, she doesn’t normally read historical books, but when she saw the cover she felt like it sold her on this one, and I am with her, I will honestly admit over half of my book choices are based on cover alone…this does lead to a lot of regrets, but some great reads!!
and lastly she picked out Gena Showalter’s new series' first book, I love her books and am so excited to have the first one in this series!!

I am so excited to be participating in the Guest Post Swap from CGSwaps! I love love love all of their swaps I have been lucky enough to participate in, and this one doesn’t cost a thing!
My partner is Megan from Here I Go With All My Thoughts. She has a wonderful swap post for you all!!
Nearly every single year, we celebrate Thanksgiving at my Uncle Kevin and Aunt Linda’s home. Kevin is my mom’s brother, the baby of their family. We gather at his gorgeous home in Lansing, MI. Every year brings a different attendance level, depending on who is dating someone new, who just had a baby, who had to spend Thanksgiving with other in-laws. But no matter what, it’s a fun day.
All the siblings, and now a lot of the cousins, bring something to share for the meal while Kevin handles the turkeys. My mom brings the green bean casserole. My aunt Tucky has the most delicious sweet potato casserole, and homemade pies. While the food is cooking and preparing, we munch on snacks, watch the Lions game, and sip on a beverage of our choice. (Read: Wine). Plus, there’s a little pile of paper cut out leaves and we are reminded by the younger cousins to write down what we are thankful for.
When dinner begins, we fill our plates with the delicious food and spread out at long tables. We say a prayer and the younger cousins read our leaves out loud. Some are funny- once my cousin Jack, just a little kid at the time, put “I’m thankful for cheese”. We all got a good laugh out of that one. Some are more serious or sappy. We try to guess who wrote what, it’s typically pretty obvious. And then we eat- and laugh- and share stories. It’s not often we’re all in one room, so we use that time wisely.
As dinner wraps up and dishes begin to pile in the sink, we all layer in warm clothes and head outside for a touch football game. We divide ourselves up and hilariously waddle through the mud, snow, or grass, depending on how the weather is that year. Some of us take it more seriously than others. Those not able to play stand on the sidelines to cheer and take pictures. This is my favorite part of the day. We just let loose and have fun.
We’re all exhausted after playing and usually collapse onto a couch or chair sipping coffee or hot chocolate. (or, more wine) and eat a slice of pie. Some play board games, others sit by the bonfire, some just continue their chats.
We usually leave around 7, but it feels much later. It’s been a long day and we’re tired. Once home, I flip on a Christmas movie or cuddle up with a book, smiling as I realize how grateful I am for my family.
The Thanksigivng I just described to you is a pretty clear picture of how you can find me celebrating Thanksgiving. Rarely do we stray away from this routine. And I honestly love it. It is probably my favorite day of the year.

Swapoween is one of my favorite blog swaps all year, and So I was SUPER excited to get my package from Morgan Elise. Morgan was an AMAZING swap partner, and she picked out some great items for me!
As I was opening the box my Penni Puppy had to come check it out. 
First thing in the box was House Hunter’s Bingo. This is one of my FAVORITE shows to watch and I am super looking forward to playing along!!
Then I got an Orange stamp pad, and Adorable J stamp and some cute brown cards and envelopes, I can’t wait to make some fun cards to send off to my family and friends back in SC!
I got glow in the dark foaming handwash, which is great because I actually was needing to run out and get some more!

I mentioned I LOVE Candy Corn, in fact Chocolate Candy Corn and Caramel Apples are my FAVORITE for Halloween!
I have been wanting to try out one of these for a while, so I now have a Cute Skull Plug in and Candy Corn Melts!! They smell sooo yummy!!
Candy Corn Baking Cups, which will be PERFECT for the Halloween Funfetti Cupcakes I am making for our photo critique on Halloween.

I am so sorry this is late, I have been in and out of the hospital this week with Kensei, he is doing better now, but he had two massive kidney stones that almost caused one of his kidneys to completely shut down..
