I got to see one of my BEST friends get married again this past weekend. I went home to SC for the weekend and for the #CoetzeeLyon wedding. I loved being at M’s wedding, she was so happy and I know this guy is good for her!

I honestly have no clue. My Best friend M is a dead ringer for Jessica Alba, but I’ve never found a Celeb I resemble. So I went to this Site, and put in the picture I use most for myself,  and Well here it is… I don’t think so…

So I used a Different picture of myself. Not much Better, This time I only got one match and no where near me

So I did M just to see what the site said.

Girl's Night

SO I had a girls night, I don’t get to see M and Eri as much as I’d like, especially together.  So when M and I went to see Twilight and realised we weren’t tired after the movie we called Eri and all went over to my house for some wine and cheese and lots of talking. No one left until after 5 am.

It honestly depends on who I am talking to and what about, I txt M and Eri all the time unless it’s something I feel like I need to talk it out.

Well the last message I got was from M (although by the time this posts I’ll have gotten more lol) It says: Alright ….. I think im getting sick…. head cold maybe?

So my phone is BRAND new like I just got yesterday new. so my favorite apps are Angry Birds and the weather background I have… its pretty…  <—My new phone the clouds move and the screen shows whatever the weather is outside!!

{4}At what age do you think kids are ready for a cell phone?

I had my first phone when I was 11, because I was alone after school, had to walk to Airforce’s school and pick him up and walk home, and no parents until after 7 pm.

But I think I won’t let my own kids get one until they are 13-16 and they earn it.

Like I said my phone is BRAND new no pics or videos yet but my old phone had a whole bunch I just got on my computer…. its not recent but I love it a guest at the hotel I USED to work at gave me these

OMG I AM SOOO SORRY!!!

Okay so I know I have been an AWEFUL blogger, I have no excuse so I am just going to apologize, I promise to get better!

I went out with M last night to a Boots N Bikini contest she was in it was fun, So I am going to leave you with a few of those and starting tomorrow I will hopefully be back on a good posting schedule!!

Wow! What a Weekend!!

I have had an insane weekend, I spent part of it at the hospital with M, T and the new baby, worked a ton, and spent the rest with my sister. I spent the entire day in bed asleep yesterday and am all ready to go this week lol. So because I wanted to show everyone and (now that T gave me permission, This is Tori Story, her daughter.

Friday Confessions

These are going to be short and sweet I think!

I confess I wish I had more money, but if I did I know I would just spend it….

I confess watching T have her baby is taking  a lot longer than we all thought she’s been 7 cm dilated for the past 2 hours

I confess I can’t wait for the baby to come.

I confess that I am not thrilled with T’s boyfriend… he just showed up to the room, and he was drunk, and when he called to see what was going on he said he didn’t feel like coming up.

I confess that M might have gotten a bit more upset with him than she should have because of what he did.

I Confess that when T had her daughter at 5:28 am I was so amazed and happy I barely rested at all today!!

I Can’t Wait!!!!

I am counting down the minutes until I leave work tonight, not because I am off tomorrow, or even because I have mail at the house, but because M, one of my very best friends, You can read some of her adventures and misadventures by clicking the links) is at the hospital, not for a bad reason but because her baby sister T is having her first daughter.

I can’t wait and I love the fact that the baby is waiting on me, lol or at least that’s what I am telling myself!! More updates and hopefully Pictures soon!

Trying Not To Cry

Quick Warning…. This post is to get my emotions out there, If you want to be mean DO NOT COMMENT.. also I do use bad words… something I do not usually do so if that offends you don’t read please.

 

So the day started out great.  I wen tout last night with M, we had dinner and then went to karaoke, I had so much fun, didn’t sleep all night.

Then M came to my work this morning to keep me company and herself awake and things were going great until my phone rang.

It was my mother…. now I love my mom… I honestly, truly, really do LOVE her… I just don’t really LIKE her…  Our relationship has never been very good. But things had been better since she moved in with her new boyfriend… kinda.

My mother lies a lot… I mean a whole lot, she also “Borrows” money from people’s wallets and other things, which is why when she told me that the money my Papa  had left me when he passed was almost gone because my Uncle, (Who had just died) spent it I was skeptical to say the least, apparently out of the 5 thousand I had been left only 1,500 was there. but I was okay with that I can get a decent car for that price… in fact I’ve found one that looks great for 1300…

So I was all set to go talk to this guy about that car today when my mom called me at work.. she told me that she needed the money for hospital bills, because she has tumors in her uterus and they might be cancerous and if they aren’t removed then she’ll die. Now my mom is a very dramatic person, so I only believe half of what she says usually, but my papa died from brain tumors, and my grandmother (her mom) died of cancer so it is plausible.. and what kind of person, and daughter would I be if I didn’t let her use the money? She could be telling the truth for once… but what if she’s not? What if she just wants the money again like usual? She has taken so much money from me over the years whether by asking or “borrowing” that I just don’t know.

I am letting her have the money of course, but I feel betrayed and hurt and I shouldn’t feel this way… I should be worried about my mom and I honestly can’t even work up the worry right now… because I don’t know if it’s true…

God I sound like a selfish bitch… 

anyways I apologize for the rant, and selfishness and bitchyness of this post… I will try to be back to my upbeat self tomorrow.

Day 25 Thanksgiving

Day 25: Your day, in great detail

So My day was tiring, I was at work from 10 pm on Wednesday until 8:39 this morning,  then I went home to cook. I made Thanksgiving dinner completely by myself this year,  turkey, stuffing, dressing, and mashed sweet potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce too.
I had dinner with Prue, her daughter, (my niece), Airforce, Jujube, Prue’s romantic interest, and my Daddy. They all enjoyed my food, apparently I am good at cooking poultry, everyone commented on it. Then after dinner everyone left and I tried to sleep for a few hours, until M and her sister came to eat, the enjoyed the food too lol.
after that was work and then home to spend all of Black Friday in bed!

I don’t  have a Favorite TV show but I LOVE  Bones, NCIS, Wizards of Waverly Place (yes the kids show) and True Blood. I also love to watch David Tutera’s My Fair Wedding.
I don’t have a favorite book either, but Give me a Romance novel and I’m happy.

Now My Idea for the Perfect First date,  I never actually had one with Kensei, but my perfect first date would be sweet and fun and romantic. I would love maybe a beach date or a fair date, just walking holding hands, especially where there’s a boardwalk and you can play games and win prizes! lol. I’m not one for expensive meals, and fancy restaurants although I do like them, I always feel out of place. I am totally at home with a corn dog and elephant ear!  So What’s your Idea of a 1st date?

Okay so I work in a hotel, we all know this, but sometime I want to forget that I am a nice person and that I care about people and try to do my best, because some people just need to be smacked!! Not really but you know what I mean, so I am stealing and combining a few things I like a few days late, Dear So and So and sticky notes.

 

 

And then because I feel kinda whiny from that Here is M when she was with me the other night, I only messed with the picture a little so I could have done better.

The further misadventures in romance of M

So we all know that M got married last march, and that her husband had been cheating on her and his family had been making her life miserable, so she wanted a divorce. He convinced her for one more chance and then another and another, finally when she was about to tell him to jump he came home to visit and once again tried to prove he had changed. He suckered us all in this time, partly because that was when we found out that her Marine friend was beating on her. So we were all kinda hoping that Navyboi had changed.

It seems he has not, he JUST got back to Japan and she has once again been sent emails by mistake, and had some of his Battle Buddies say he has had a girlfriend (who is married) for over two months, when questioned about it the only response was that it wasn't two months and that he is trying to change but she has to help him, and needs to be there so that he won't cheat and not talk to any male because that makes him cheat.

she asked me my opinion and I told her Kensei and I had been together for over 9 nine years, most of them spent apart, neither of us has cheated, and then so what if she moves to Japan, he still has to spend 9 month a year on a boat, she can't go with him, so he gets to cheat those nine months by his logic.

But I don't think she should be with Marineboy either because he hurts her physically, I told her that my opinion is she should get her divorce, and then take some time, maybe move somewhere for school, alone and away from the both of them and spend some M time.

Only At Tech Random Tuesday Thoughts

SOOO Originally I was going to write a blog about how wonderful it is because the day is a lovely cool crisp 49 degrees. But I had to change the topic because well its been an interesting day.

 

Midlands Tech- there is a running joke about our school that you will go here for 5 years for your two year degree and 95% of the time you only need one class and it is a math or science class.

 

Well on the way to math today I missed it apparently but M came into class and the first words out of her mouth were “I saw underwear in the hallway”

I kinda looked a little odd but my response was “On a person?” She said no so apparently someone took off their underwear and left it on the stairway for fun.

Then when I went to hang in the student center where one of the guys was singing Steven lynch songs.

 

We were sitting in class the teacher was discussing the fact that now technology is annoying and how mechanics can come home in clean clothes and this guys text ring came right at the end of his speech and he laughed and said wow I had a good idea complete with sound

 

Then we had a contest to see if we could touch our tongues to our noses, I was the only one in a table of 7 that could….

 

How many people just tried to touch their nose with their tongue??

So Then we had conversations about Farmville, and how

 

does Amber have a Vibrator??? She bought a vibrating face thing from Neutrogena and apparently it turned on of its own free will and her dad came in and asked her if she had a vibrator.

 

Speaking of Vibrators Nicci and Amber were discussing the fact that Nicci’s phone was vibrating very strongly, and joking that Nicci brought her Vibe to school, then Amber said “Go play with it with Angel!” and I was like Amber wants to play more, and then Amber said go play with M, and M who was completely clueless just said “Hi!” and this caused the entire group to burst into laughter.

 

Things are not going well for M, I am a little worried for her because she has a tendency to overstress about things and with the way her marriage is headed and the extra stress that the NavyJerk  is putting on her, His family is treating her like crud and it is upsetting to her. Although she knows that she has a lot of people who love her and would do anything for her, (Including several of us who are willing to fly to Japan and kick his butt) I have a feeling she is feeling kind of alone about this. Then on top of that she is now worried that she won’t be able to finish school because if she decides to take care of her problems the way she would like then she will not have the funds for classes next semester. I have told her she is welcome to come to TN with me and go to school there, if she’d like but I don’t think she will.

 

Sometimes, I wish I could fix things for my friends, Eri and her relationships and M’s issues. Amber really doesn’t have relationship issues, but that’s because she is without one currently.

 

On a lighter note, we have the Carolina Game Cocks, and we have a running conversation randomly about the Cocks vs. Trojans. We would love to hear the announcers make comments like “The cocks are going strong but the Trojan’s have a strong defense!” or “The Trojans have completely surrounded the Cocks!” or even “ The Cocks have managed to break through the Trojan Defense!!”

Can you imagine the laughter from the stands?

Drama Drama Drama

Wow this has been a weekend for me and my friends!

I posted in the last post When A Door Closes…. that my amazing awesome boss was leaving, and I wasn’t sure what would happen. Well this morning bright and early at 6:45 Eri called me to tell me that the first shift girl had not come in yet what should she do? I told her to call the manager of our sister property because he was defacto manager now. About 3 min later he called me to ask if I could come in a can cover, now I am working audit tonight so that was annoying, I bundled up Jujube who I was watching today and she and I came to work when the first girl showed up at 9:30 then I left and mentioned that she needed to be here on time because I have to get home so my father can be on time to work in the morning I will let you know.

M’s getting a divorce she thinks, because her relationship has gotten worse, I think it is good for her because his family is tearing her apart daily and he has not been faithful at all.

Eri had surgery today and so I am worried about her.

Amber is freaking out because all of us are having so many issues and she thinks its somehow relating to her bad luck lately. I thinks she’s a sweetie.

I know this is a little late but does anyone know WHY Obama got the peace prize? I don’t think he deserved it honestly. 

I don’t like the movie Zombieland and am boycotting it because I don’t like Zombies.

Than I had a god day in classes, except in Poetry where I found out that i am at an intellectual low, from my professor opening my horoscope in the middle of class.



This one means that I am good at physical stuff now (then how come I'm so tired) and REALLY bad at being smart right now, So I asked him if that meant he would go easy on me because we have a paper due, he laughed and moved on with the lecture so I am taking that as a No.




















I did end up enjoying work, Eri and M came by to visit me and so my last two hours were fun!



Eri gave me the cutest faerie necklace and M gave me a bento when she got back from Japan












And then Jujube gave me two more faeries to add to my collection!




All in all even with the work I had a really good birthday!
