May Birchbox—Gossip Girl

Honestly I’ve never seen the show, but I did read a few of the books, and I generally love the theme boxes!  So what is Birchbox? Birchbox is a monthly subscription service for $10 a month that sends you a pretty little box with 4-5 samples of all sorts of fun things!

So here’s what I got!

Chic Sunday Brunch was my theme.

 

Arquiste L’Etrog- Expensive perfume sample, pretty packaging for the sample, not something I would Splurge on.

 

Twist band Skinny Headband, I love twist bands, I’ve gotten the ponytail sized ones twice in different Birchboxes  and I like the way they look, wouldn’t pay 20 for 6 of them though.

Color Club Disco Nap polish, like the color, LOVE getting polishes in boxes, but I honestly didn’t feel like it fit with the theme, my sister got the beach day box and her polish was Clambake Coral, which fit wonderfully.

Was thrilled for this sample, because I do not go a day without using my Skin79 Pink BB Cream. I was a little upset because the sample was empty, but with WONDERFUL customer service I emailed Birchbox, got a reply within 2 days and Birchbox is sending my a new sample to try out! I am very happy with that, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE their customer service.

Gotta say I was a LITTLE disappointed with this sample, of the Beauty  Blender cleaner, last month or the month before they sent out some beauty blenders, I didn’t get one, but I liked my box then so I was okay with it. Got the cleaner for a product I never got, and even though it says you can use it to clean brushes I use olive oil and dish soap to clean mine, MUCH cheaper.

I though the note card was ADORABLE! xoxo on the front and blank on the back, I plan on writing someone a letter with this!
