Angel Reads The Mistletoe Effect

The Mistletoe Effect

I am a sucker for a good Christmas story and this one is a cute and good Christmas story.

The story starts off with a runaway bride, on a ranch that is known for never having a wedding that takes place there end. So it forces our Hero and Heroine to get married on the spot. Carina is the dutiful daughter who really wants to do anything else other than work her families ranch. While she lets her family walk all over her, she is creative and spunky and humorous. Decker is a hardworking ranch hand who wants to be in charge. Carina and his Marriage is planned to be done with after the season, and even though you know they will stay together (it is a romance novel after all) I Loved the story of how they stay together.

The grandmother in this story really stole the show for me! She was hilarious like a cross between the mom and grandmother on the Nanny (that sitcom in the 90s?) She was smart and played the old card when needed, but she was determined to make Carina happy and knew just what buttons needed to be pushed to make it happen!

If you are looking for a laugh out loud, sweet, fun holiday read I totally recommend The Mistletoe Effect!!

I give this one 4 out of 5!

(This book was provided to me for free from Net Galley, but all opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are my own with out any influence.)
