Wedding Blues!

 

This wedding stuff is KILLING me! I have no clue what I am doing, and no help doing it!

I made a webpage for the wedding but I am just using the basic stuff and it is driving me loco!

I need advice! I have the reception hall booked, but I have no clue where we are going to do the ceremony, or the rehearsal dinner or anything!

I do have my bridesmaids dresses picked though and they are going to look divine! (ya know Priorities lol)

Do any of my friends have any advice??

May Goals

Yes I know I am a slacker… it is really sad how badly I slack and procrastinate….

So goals for this month:

1. Check out a church for the wedding and decide if we are DOING a church or just at the venue.

2. Do ALL of the laundry in the house and keep on top of it!

3. Utilize my Planner more, (if you would be interested in a Plan with me post/video let me know in the comments)

4. Keep up with the savings plan I started in April, (so far week 3, and save 3 dollars.)

5. Go through some of my boxes of junk.

6. Finish the wedding invites and figure out a rehearsal dinner space.

7. Get the car looked at/fixed

8. Keep up with Weight Watchers.

I Think I Found My Reception Venue!!!!

 

This is going to be a wedding post, so I hope you all like it!!

I have been dreading the invitations because well I haven’t found any that just SCREAM me and Kensei, but I have someone AMAZING who wanted to try to make one for me so I know it will rock!! (Hi Karen!!)

I went to look at a possible venue for the reception today and honestly? I LOVE it!!! It might be a tad bit tight once we get everyone inside, but I think it is a great space with AMAZING views, plus the Memphis Trolley line stops right in front so guests won’t have to park and will have a cool way to get there!!

A Blog Challenge!

Today I am linking up for a blog challenge!! The topic is my dream dress: I am going to go 2 ways on this one, my dream wedding dress and a dress I wish would magically appear in my closet for Midsouth Con, so I could be Cinderella at the SteamPunk Ball.

I have talked about my wedding, and my dream dress before, but I figured for those that don’t know me or are new readers first off Hi!!! Secondly I am a big anime fan, and a dress from an anime has always been my dream wedding dress, not a poufy Cinderella dress, mainly because I’d worry about sitting on it all night, but I have always wanted princess Serenity’s dress from Sailor Moon.

I mean isn’t it pretty?? They did make a collection based on her dress, but it was WAY out of my Priceline.

It is pretty though.

So I have been looking on Etsy, because I will actually be getting married, maybe sometime next year, and I found one I love!

OkBridal is a company that will costume fit the dress to my size which is great! And this dress is less than $200!!

So it really will be the perfect wedding dress for me!

As for the Steampunk Ball, I would love a simple dress, in a dark emerald or sapphire, and I am loving these two styles, (also from Okbridal)

Wedding Planning!!!

Okay so first I am not planning MY wedding because Kensei has not proposed yet.

So Even though I am majoring in psychology and photography M has decided that because she has no clue what she is doing, and she will be in Japan for most of the year that her two maids of honor, my and her sister T are going to be her wedding planners. The bad thing about this is T is only 15 years old so she's already said she won't be much help. M is also not going to be much help is seems. She is completely indecisive, wants everything perfect and wants everything as Cheap as possible. I don't really know her fiancee Navy Boy all that well so I don't know what he likes or what he doesn't like or what he wants. Also because M is going to be in Japan for most of the year she wants to be surprised but personally I think that she should be involved so that everything will go well. M also has no budget and not in the good spend whatever you want way. If anyone has any advice or suggestions I am open to and welcoming them all! I have less than a year to make this perfect and I am not quite sure how it will work out!
