Musical Mondays Secret Mission!

So I have been pretty much listening to one soundtrack only for at least the past 2 weeks, I felt like I needed to share my 2 favorite songs from it. I hope that those of you reading my blog have seen the magic wonderfulness that is Galavant if not.. please please go watch it!! I Desperately need season 2!!!

First song is sweet and romantic (sorta)

I’ve been singing this song in the car, and having Kensei chime in now and then occasionally.

 

and one of my other favorite songs I call a drinking song, (Plus look at the little dance the king does after the first first!) Also if you watch Psych you will recognize the king as LASSIE!!!

Music Monday Going To The Chapel…

Today’s song is something that I really wanted to get out there, GUESS WHAT GUYS???!! I’m Going To The Chapel and I’m gonna get MAARRIED!!!! I am FINALLY Planning Kensei’s and my wedding!!! Our tentative dates are either December 29th or 30th depending on our venues availability. So fair warning my blog will probably get mushy and wedding obsessed this year!

Music Monday Into The Woods

I have always Loved Into The Woods, and Felt most connected to Cinderella’s character, and even though I’ve not seen Disney’s version of one of my favorite plays of all time I do like the way Anna Kendrick sounds as Cinderella, and Honestly this song has always resonated with me, I have a lot of decisions that I need to make this year, a lot of choices and chances for things to go right or wrong and Stuck on The Steps is probably going to be my theme song for this year. (even though some of the words were changed…)

Music Monday What Are You Doing New Years Eve?

This is a pretty song, I love Etta James’s version and I think Idina Menzel did a really good job on it. So what am I doing New Years Eve? I will probably kiss Kensei at midnight and then I am off to bed because I work at 6 am the next morning.

Music Monday Where Are You Christmas

I love this song, It really touches my heart and makes me smile during the holiday season (as if you guys couldn’t tell I am a MAJOR Christmas fan)

But I REALLY LOVE Nick Pitera’s vocal range and his takes on songs, so I figured I would share this one for this week!!

I swear I would Love to go to the Tony Awards!!

 

And I always wanted to be on Broadway and honestly I feel the second song in this opening way to much!!

 

Music Monday (kinda)

 

So this still counts as Monday for me because I have been awake since yesterday morning.

I have 2 songs and 3 videos for you today. The first is a song that I sang as a solo in high school and is a favorite part in a favorite movie and it was brought back to me from a TV show.

The TV show is Blacklist and they copied a good bit of this scene and I loved it!!

The 2nd song is Hello from the Book Of Mormon… this song literally kept me awake while I was setting out breakfast this morning! I needed the beat!

Psych The Musical!!!

Still seriously rocking out to Disney’s Frozen but I’ve also been cycling through Psych The Musical’s Soundtrack… My only issue with it is that they didn’t include the speaking bits in the soundtrack…. It would have added a lot more!

Frozen!!

Yes I know its not Monday but I really wanted to post this one! I’ve been obsessing over some music lately, first off, These two songs from Disney’s Frozen!

The volume is a little low on this one so you might need to turn it up some! I mean come on… Do you wanna build a snowman??

And this song in particular has been on constant repeat, but only the Idina Menzel version… I’m not to fond of the Demi Lavato version.

I blame todays music completely on Miss Angie from My So Called Chaos, If you haven’t seen her post she is talking about super sexy Tim Curry and that tagged this movie in my mind, One of my favorite Halloween Films and TV shows to watch! The Worst Witch!  such an adorable little movie. And the books were fun to read as a kid too!    And Tim Curry as the Grand Wizard... What do you think? So what songs am I into this week??

Mostly Cher Lloyd songs, I’ve just been adoring the pop/rock beat lately. She reminds me of a brown haired Barbie with tattoos!  I LOVE her!

My top 3 songs

I love the spooky, halloweenish vibe I get from this one!  This one has a REALLY catchy beat  I wish, this one got me back into her Music! It came on Pandora while I was working in the lab and ended up being bought right away and played on repeat for at least 30 times!   Swagger Jagger... I hate this one, but it is stuck in my head, it's the only song of her's I didn't automatically adore, but it gets stuck in your brain and the little kid sounding rhyming bit just plays on repeat! What are you listening to this week??(does it sound like Clementine to anyone else? You know Oh, My Darling, Oh My Darling, Oh My Darling Clementine? You are lost and gone forever, dreadful sorry Clementine?)

I have never participated in this before today!

SO what have I been Listening to today?? Well First of all I have had this song stuck in my head for over a week!!

And then this song from a soundtrack I found the other day. I LOVED this movie growing up unfortunately I cannot for the life of me find a copy of it ANYWHERE I would LOVE to be able to watch this movie again. I honestly don’t even think they show it on TV anymore.

If Anyone has seen it or knows where I might be able to find a copy PLEASE let me know??
