Have you ever wandered about genetic mutation? I’m not talking X-man stuff like claws and knocking people out with touch but like kids stuff, you know a way to become the little mermaid?
Piper and I had a conversation the other day about if they ever figure out a way to make it so we can breathe in water without needing equipment, (not gills necessarily but not saying no if they are covered decently) How we would be the very first to sign up and how our kids would thank us for it!

I love summer but I hate heat, does that make sense?

I wish that I could have seen my cousin on Monday, he was driving down to Parris Island and stopped by the house sadly I wasn’t home because I worked till 3 and even though it was five I am still car less and had to wait until dad came and got me and dad didn’t want to leave until Erik got there and so I didn’t leave work till 6

I have had my kids names picked out for 6 years now, but Kensei won’t let me name any of them what I want

Domino’s pizza smells good.

Why doesn’t SC have tornado sirens? WE get at least 50 in Lexington a year.

I can’t wait until next Tuesday One week from today exactly, I will be on my vacation and enjoying myself.

Also I am going to have super long hair I will take a picture and post it if you guys want.

Kensei’s dad refuses to let me stay in a hotel, I think that is sweet. But I do want to stay at least one night in one.

I am looking forward to having a week to myself.

Sunday, a Dreamy Boring day

Today has been a very boring day. I woke up to the ring of my cell phone while my mother yelled at me. I then finished two books and wished my life was more like the ones in my books. Then I finished reading Jujube A Little Princess and realized that my high expectations had actually started when I was very young.

I also went to do a Sunday meme, and it also linked to my boredom today. While Piper is a horror movie buff I am the musical girl. Sit me in front of Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire any movie with singing and dancing no matter what age it was intended and you won't hear a peep from me except maybe a giggle now and then. I love any musical I can get my hands on.

I have always thought that I lived in the wrong time, I would feel perfectly at home almost anywhere in history, even without the Internet.
Almost every song I own is from a musical. I love to watch old movies with Cary Grant, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, and Frank Sinatra. I have always been obsessed.
My mother blames my grandmother for making her watch them while she was pregnant and for the firs Christmas (I was born in September) Watching White Christmas forty times while holding me, apparently family legend is that during that Christmas I would only stop crying if I heard Bing Crosby.

I always used to joke that my kids would grow up watching the movies I always loved so much.
I have always been able to take a situation and turn it into something I saw in a musical once.

There is a reason that this disjointed post is like this, I was looking at the Sunday Meme's and saw this prompt.

MY life a movie??? A musical of course. Then I started thinking about how dull my life is and decided to stick to the actual questions. I would want my part played by.... well a now actress Jessica Alba, (I know I look nothing like her) and for Kensei I want Gene Kelly or Bing Crosby (I know I know, but this is fantasy right??) Piper could be played by Ginger Rodgers, Jujube I would want played by Shirley Temple, well I could cast the whole thing! As for the title I am not sure... I wrote a story once called a Series of unfortunate Mishaps. maybe something along those lines.

Movies and Lack of Sleep

Well I am currently on the downward spiral of my work shift and then I have two whole nights off Yeah me! I just finished Watching "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" It was a very cute movie I would definitely recommend it to people, but not under 16 there are a lot of adult themes.

I can't wait until Tomorrow, not only do I get to do Thursday 13, BUT Mama Kat came out of her illness with some wonderful prompts! SO I am looking forward to it as well. Hopefully she will be well soon!

I was bored tonight and when I couldn't sleep earlier I watched the wedding channel, for those that don't know it is a Time Warner channel dedicated to wedding shows, I get bored and watch Food, Style, Anything that has a something Channel. It amuses me. But I enjoyed a show about Disney Fairy Tale Weddings, While I would LOVE to have one, I don't think I can come up with 35k plus for my wedding and I doubt that Kensei will agree to a wedding in Disney World.

Kensei and I had a talk about jobs again today. He was telling me about his friend in Basic, I have been wavering between whether I want him in the military or not for a while, When I was in high school I definitely did not, but now especially with the economy they way it is the military looks to be the best job. But Its a moot point because he won't join. He doesn't think he will do well and therefore refuses to consider it. I will need a new job when I move up there, because well, going to need to make money to pay rent.

His Father offered to sign the house over to us when we get married. But, I don't want to live there with his dad until we do, I have seen a lot of friends fall into that trap. None of them enjoy it.

I got a warrant yesterday... Funny story. When my mother moved out to live with her boyfriend two years ago she canceled our insurance policy on our cars, In SC you have to have car insurance. My dad and I did not know this until he went to renew our tags 8 months after, by then we had over $1,000 in fees on each car to pay before we could renew the tags. I didn't know this and ended up in front of a police officer one night on my way home from work. He pulled me over for the tags and wrote me a $200 ticket. My dad said he would take care of it and I forgot about it. Apparently he never paid it because the friendly Deputy was waiting when I got home from class to give me a letter.

I am paying it tomorrow (Thank God I got paid today) but still not a good surprise!
