What’s In My Purse Fall 2014??

 

So I posted the Handbag Tag a while back and a lot of you guys said you wanted to see what was in my purse!

I LOVE these posts because I’m nosy and they amuse me, so here is everything in my bag!

This is my Bag! It is a Rebecca Minkoff MAB tote in Bright blue. I LOVE it!! Although you can see some of the threads fraying on the bag which makes me sad, because I paid retail for this bag, (something I usually NEVER do)

On the handle of my bag I clip my keys, and my SWTOR key button thingy.

Now into the Bag, I am warning you I have a LOT of stuff in this bag

My journal that is going to become my weight loss journal, and Maybelline Matte Lipsticks in 670 Ravishing Rose and 655 Daringly Nude

WinterSpell, The new book I am about to start, I’ve been putting it into my purse so I can read it when I am not working on homework or taking naps!

My Amazon Kindle Fire and black case, this is a constant in my purse for Netflix watching and book reading.

My Erin Condren Life Planner, I use this thing for everything!

2 Netflix DVDS, I have Minority Report and New In Town.

My Vera Bradley ID case with my Student ID and a few other daily needs inside it.

Blue Tooth for my phone, nail glue, Vicks Thermometer, and random dollars from the bottom of my bag.

Handbag Tag!!

 

I am a little bit obsessed with my handbags/purses, I love them and usually get a new one/switch them out every few months!

1. What is your favorite brand and why?

I don’t really have a favorite brand of bag, but I do like the structural quality of Rebecca Minkoff bags, and Michael kors bags.

2. Do you consider yourself a collector?

Yes and no, I have a ton of bags, but most of them were bought from target/Wal-Mart or TJMax and Marshalls,

3. If you had to part with a bag what would it be like?

If it was still functional then I would be really upset, but I’ve gotten rid of plenty of bags that I wore out to the point where straps broke and things.

4. When did you fall in love with handbags?

Probably in high school, I wasn’t really a purse girl until high school when I had my little jean purse with pink lining and pink glitter butterflies but that purse held EVERYTHING I could possibly ever need and made my friends literally refer to it as the “great Big Bag Of Everything” (yes like song from the old Disney TV Show Stanley’s Playhouse)

5. What was your first designer bag?

The first designer bag I ever got was a Steve Madden Weekender, which I LOVE and use for my photo classes, I got it from Marshalls, on clearance for $30

6. Is there an emotional component?

I think so, I get very attached to my bags!

7. Do you have a dream bag?

I have 2 one I actually JUST bought myself as an early birthday present and I LOVE it so far and the other one I would only get if it was seriously on sale.

What’s In My Purse?!

I love doing these link ups for a few reasons:

1. I’m Nosey and I like to see what other people keep in their bags,

2. I always need to clean my bags out, because I’m messy and this is the best way for me to actually be accountable for the amount of trash that accumulates in my bags!

 

So What’s in my bag? First my bag is an Anne Klein Jazzy Geo Satchel that I got a Marshall’s on sale for 15.99; I can’t find the color on the site but this is a pretty beige one, and a black one!

So Here is my bag!

 

I am being completely honest about all the trash in my bag! lol.

BTW I have a LOT of Lippies in my bag, apparently I have a problem.

I have 2 wallets, my Black leather Fossil Wallet, and my Vera Bradley Zip Id Case in Blue Bayou!

two things of hair ties, including the Ariel collection hair ties, mints, 3 Netflix DVDs, and Deodorant, every purse needs some of that!

My headset, with case and charger. plus my cell phone battery recharger. (the little blue and white square)

Vicks Thermometer, and covers, tooth brush, moist towelettes, Stephanie Johnson’s Mermaid Mirror, and receipts and an expired free sandwich from chick-fil-a.

Watermelon Push Pop, 5 black pens, 1 blue, Burt's bees cuticle balm, Maybelline color tattoo, and Revlon shine stain balm in La Exclusive and London Posh.

3 5 second nail glues, They’re Real Mascara, L’Oreal Le Matte Lippy, Coola Chap stick with SPF, Julep cuticle oil, Revlon Lip Shine Stain Balm (# 3 in the bag so far) in Parisian Passion.

Eyeglass repair kit, Taylor By Taylor Swift roller ball perfume, Journey by Harvey Prince travel spray perfume, Cynthia Rowley Lip stain in Valentine, Revlon Color Burst Matte Balm in Shameless (or Barney Purple as I call it!) Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Light it up.

Another towelette, Marc Anthony beach spray, Lemon Hand cream, Deja Poo; Poo potpourri, and a Rebecca Minkoff bag from Ipsy filled with lippies.

Inside the Rebecca Minkoff bag, I have; Anastasia Waterproofing gel, Nail clippers, Nyx Crème Brule; Revlon Kissable balm stain in honey, and Revlon Moisture balms in: La Exclusive (2nd time in my bag ) India Intrigue, New York Scene, Rio Rush, Cannes Crush, Shanghai Sizzle, Miami Fever, and Barcelona Nights.

An umbrella, Vitamins, headache pills, and other meds, a travel wet brush, more mints, another Coola chap stick, icy hot for migraines, and 2 Ruffian polishes, in Ambrosia and Rosary.

Peppermint stick and Root beer Stick, and 6 different (but the same) chargers

Coin Keeper, more pens, bobby pins, a coupon for a local Chinese place and a receipt.

Filled coin Keeper, more receipts, another expired chick-fil-a coupon, more bobby pins, an other pen and charger and coins!

Sunday Social What’s In My Purse

 

 

1. What is your favorite handbag you've ever owned?

I honestly don’t have one. I switch out my bags VERY frequently. almost monthly, so I don’t have one that I’ve ever loved enough to use for more than my usual time.

2. What is your dream handbag you lust over?

The Rebecca Minkoff Mac’s in Teal or Rose Gold OR

The Michael Kors in Rose Gold.

3. What are the daily essentials in your purse or work bag?

Daily Essentials… Wallet, Allergy meds, makeup of some kind and deodorant.

4. What's in your purse (with pictures)?

Well I didn’t bring my Camera with me today so I did a Quick Vlog about what is in my purse. If you want to see what I had my my last couple of bags take a look at these!  May 2013, November 2011, and September 2010. I swear I did one in 2012 but I can’t seem to find the post.

What’s In My Purse???

I love watching What’s in my Purse vlogs and seeing What’s in my Purse blogs, so I decided I would do another one because I just switched out my bag! This was REALLY hard for me, if you have seen my previous What’s In my Purse Posts You can find them Here and Here, You will see I generally go for BIG bags that I can fill up with many different items that I need but don’t really need.

I bought this purse on sale at Target, I found it on the site and will link it (in several colors) but it is not at the killer sale price online, so if you want one go to the store…. I literally paid 6.99 for this bag! Here it is in the Pink, a REALLY pretty Blue, and a neutral brown. They also have it in green purple and several other colors. 

 

Inside the Side Pocket 1 I keep just one thing, A change holder I got on sale at Gordan’s for 2.99

Then in Side Pocket 2 I keep My light up mirror, a nail polish, either top coat or actual color (this time it is a top coat) because I cannot STAND the feeling of chipped nails, and my keys are clipped along the side of the pocket. 

Then I have my Perfume Pocket…. Yes I have a WHOLE pocket dedicated to perfume, I have My, My Sent bottle filled with Harvey Prince’s Skinny Chic, (I am in LOVE With Harvey Prince smells, Eau De Flirt and Hello are 2 of my other favorites) BBW Forever Red Perfume, Vicks Vapor Stick (for allergies) and BBW anti-back in Feeling Lucky which smells like Apples.

Then I have my makeup Pocket, which I guess SHOULD be called my lipstick pocket, this was also very hard for me, in my old purse I actually carried 3 filled makeup bags full of different makeup and 2 Ziploc's of lipsticks/gloss. So cutting down to a few products was painful for me.

I have from left to right, top to bottom:

Maybelline Color Vivid in Shocking Coral, Rimmel London Kate Matte in 104, NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa, Revlon Color Stay Ultimate Suede in 025 Socialite, and L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Aqua’s in  188 Coral Tattoo and 184 Rose On and One

Then I have the little Zipper pouch I have my Samsung Glide Cell in the pretty pink case that matches the purse, I have 3 Listerine breath strips packs, my travel floss picks my Rimmel London Match Perfection Concealer in Fair/light that I got 50% off, Rimmel London Scandaleyes in taupe which I like/don’t like and Jordana Fabuliner in Brown as well as my Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange solid perfume.

The BIG zippy pocket has a LOT more stuff. There are three little pockets inside, in each of those pockets I have my Poo-pourri, Advil, and my cold sore medicine (get WAY to many of them when I am stressed) my Glass cleaner and repair kit from Sunglass Hut, Allegra, and Dayquil and Dove 48 hour deodorant and Cortisone anti-itch stick.

Then I have my EOS Lip Balm in Watermelon, four pens, my little umbrella, and Julep Hand Cream, and Finally my little bag of Girl products, my mini change purse with my school ID and my Fossil Wallet.
