Books, and Blogs and Money Oh My!

I love Thursdays! Make sure you visit Mama Kat's for more creativeness!

1.) Grab your current read. Let the book fall open to a random page and share two “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
(inspired by Heather)

This was a little hard because I am in the middle of about six books right now, but Here is one of them

Night's Pleasure
Amanda Ashley

"he had an almost overpowering urge to release the beast within him. It would be so easy. He could take them all before they realized what was happening..."

4.)Tell us about your blogline...how long have you been blogging, when did you start, what were/are your goals for your blog, etc.
(inspired by Corn)

Well I haven't been blogging long. I just started this January. Originally this was going to be a kind of diary, but then I discovered all the amazing people in blogland and have been having fun reading their fantablous lives and realized mine was kind of dull. I guess I want to become more confident in what I am writing and putting out there. I am sure things are more interesting to others than they seem to me. I also love the chance to add the creative part of me. So hopefully I will write more and have a lot more fun on this blog.

Sounds like an interesting book. I am sure you will have more fun with your blog as long as you keep it going!

I am a multi book reader too... My hubby can't understand how I can do it... I just tell him all women are multi taskers.

I am in my Trashy Summer Novel phase... I am buying brainless book by the dozen right now...

Blog what you are passionate about and they will come and read it. Remember what Dr. Suess said, "Be who you are and say what you mean because those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter."

I loved your blogging comments. I find that it is just as good as a diary for me, though I find myself sometimes sharing tooo much. And I have learned sooooooo much from all the bloggers...from photography to decorating to saving money to how to be a long distance grandparent.

I think we all think our own lives are dull and everyone else's is so exciting, but the truth is that we all do something that is new and exciting to someone else. Even if it's commonplace to us, it might not be to someone else!

Late to the Mingle!
