Essentials Every Girl Should Have In Her Car At All Times

 

So I did not go to class today, because well, I was about halfway between my place and my school when my tire went flat, again, for the 5th time in 3 months. Thank goodness for AAA.

But because my car keeps being annoying with the flats I’ve learned what I should have in my car at all times, and I decided to share with you all!

1st and foremost, you should ALWAYS have a spare tire, jack and things needed to change said tire. this is something I still have a problem with, because I’ve yet to get a spare for my car.

2. to go with the 1st item, you should ALWAYS have an emergency car kit in your car, this includes, but is not limited to: Jumper cables, Tire patching kit, screwdriver, Hammer, Poncho/raincoat, flashlight with extra batteries, electrical tape, flares or flashers

3. first aid kit. (yes a fully stocked first aid kit)

now on to the other things.

4. phone charger for car and wall. Every time I have gotten a flat lately it has been when my phone is almost completely dead. I thank goodness I have a car charger BUT a wall charger would also be very handy.

5. sneakers- yes I know this is a strange one, but I broke down the other day in my work clothes, the ones I wore for our company inspection… walking in loose gravel in my pretty heels was NOT fun. also what if you are broken down somewhere with no signal? the sneakers will help you walk to that gas station you skipped a few miles back.

6. pillows, blankets, warm jacket. I can honestly say I used to have these with me all the time, but lately I haven’t and when the night is cold, or a cold day that blanket could help save your life. if you don’t want to carry an entire blanket they make folded emergency blankets, stock a few of them in your first aid kit for emergencies. I have the emergency blankets in 1 per person that can fit in my car, so a total of 5 for my car.

7. extra cash- this is something everyone should keep in their car. because you never know when you will need to pay a toll, feed a meter, need emergency gas, oil etc. I keep about 15 in ones in a tiny wallet that is in my big tool box, no one but me knows its there… and well you guys do too now.

8. Water and food- You should always have at least 5 water bottles in your car. if you are stranded then the water could help you. also if your radiator over heats you have water to cool it. All the professionals recommend carrying MREs in your car too, but I don’t have those. my emergency food is a bag of Halloween candy and a box of Lemon Luna Bars. BUT the Luna bars at least are healthy for you.

9. Pens and Paper.

10. Books, magazines, homework- while waiting that hour or four for AAA you need something to do, playing on your phone is not a good idea, because you need to keep the charge. So Keeping a few books to read, magazines to flip through or homework to work on are a good idea.

And now my List… you what list I mean, the Lists of 5 celebs (or characters in my case) you have a free pass to sleep with if, by some incredible twist of fate, you would actually have a run-in with the famous object of your affection. And that they’d be looking and wanting one with you too lol.

Kensei says my list is WAY longer that 5, because every time I comment that an actor in a movie is cute he says great add that one to the list

Spike Because well Vampire’s don’t Sparkle! I have a thing for the bad boys and Spike is definitely a bad boy. When he first came on I was totally NOT into him but now I adore him, and that accent?? I totally melt.

Harrison Ford… Han Solo and Indiana Jones, What more can a girl want?  I fell in love with Han Solo at a young age, and Harrison Ford can still make my heart melt, so he is definitely one!

Nicholas Cage- again bad boy and he just does something more me, although I will admit I like his shaggy scruffy look best.

Mark Valley- or Christopher Chance from Human Target. He is smart and sexy and the push you down on the floor and have his way kinda guy, but also a gentleman… I would let him protect me any day of the week.

Brad Pitt from Oceans or Mr and Mrs Smith,  I like the devil may car attitude and that whole I’ll do anything streak…  and even though that’s five I gotta toss one more in…

George Clooney… no words… just yummy…

Blue Skies

So I went and looked at another car, Airforce and my dad are going to help me get it, just waiting until Tuesday to know for sure so please keep your fingers crossed for me!

I am hoping that tomorrow on my photo blog I’ll have pictures of snow, we are supposed to get some!

once I got over my depression I had a decent weekend, works some odd hours though lol, I bought my first MAC cosmetics I am in love! I got a Super glass I love it.

Growing Up and Moving On

Well it is official, I am carless. I still have my job and classes are almost done for the semester, I just have one more exam. I am slightly depressed though because my car is gone,

So I figured that I would go ahead and think of all the positive things that will happen because I do not have my car

1. I will be able to save the money for the hot pink highlights

2. I will be able to work on the Master Cleanse because I won't be able to order out food.

3. I don't have classes anymore so less gas.

4. My father's AC rocks

5. I can save enough to get my own car the way I want instead of a hand me down.

Exams, The Flu and Work and the Loss of a Car.

I would have posted for Random Tuesday yesterday, but I was very depressed. On Monday night I got home from work at about midnight. I went inside and was trying to finish a conversation with M when I heard a loud noise from outside. I looked out my window and my car was there, being hooked up to a tow truck! I freaked and ran downstairs, My parents apparently had forgotten to pay the car payments for the last few months, even though they had the money. I went out and the guy said that unfortunately there was nothing he could do, so I collected my books out of the car and watched as he pulled my car around, he lowered the car and I heard a grinding noise, and freaked a little, the next day I was told that the axel had broken and that even after I paid to get the car out it wouldn't be cheap to fix. So my mother decided that I will have to buy a new car.

So Now onto why I did not post yesterday. I was depressed, I did not have class because Exams start today and was planning on studying, but instead I lay in bed for roughly six hours in the state between sleep and awake until Piper cam and woke me up, dragged me out and said smile. We went to Wal-Mart and bought the items we needed for the Master Cleanse If you have done/heard about this let me know how it went! After that I went back home to be depressed again.

The Swine Flu, is the big epidemic that is going on now. Everyone is freaking out, and my boss had ordered me to get handsanitizer because he cannot afford me to get sick, this is especially important because M decided to quit with no notice, I will never understand why people ask you to get them a job and quit a month later. We were discussing the Swine Flu before exams and one of the girls I know asked me how the Swans and Piggies were sick at the same time, we all looked at her and were like What? She said "I heard about the Piggy Flu and the Swan Flu." I laughed and now have a 'theory' about the "Swan Flu" it is very simple: The swans were mad that the cows, and other birds and now pigs have the flu so they got it too.

Wow Its been a while since the last RTT post.


I love Keely's Randomness and had a large plan for mine but I keep leaving the notebook where I wrote all of my ideas in the places I am no longer at.

I was thinking that I don't believe I necessarily look like I am seventeen but I feel good that the guy at the car fixing place thinks I am, I have corrected him many times but he continues to ask me if I am seventeen.

A guest at my hotel told one of the other girls that I work with that he thinks I would be fun to get drunk with. I am wondering now why a lot of people say that. In response she said "Angel might look innocent and all goody two shoes but shes really not all that innocent."

So I asked some of the guys who I hang out with before class and they all decided that it must be the fact I have a very bubbly personality and that it would be funny to see.

I have been working on a tribute speech to my Nana, I am probably just going to wing it.

One of the girls at work calls me like crazy, even though she knows I am not the manager, and not in an authoritative position. My mother thinks that I need to be promoted to shift supervisor and get a raise. I would love the raise not so much sure that I want to be in charge of people.

I made a bet with a friend of mine about weather or not I could go with out red meat for a week, he says you begin to flip out after a week, so we will see. Wish me luck!

Random Tuesday Thoughts!!!

okay well There is really no introduction for this so I am just going to jump in and go...

Kensei has this obsession with dating Sim video games... why? why do guys obsesses over this. His response when I asked him was 'this one's not totally about dating even though there are dates in it, but I do have one that is strictly about dating people and having them help you make weapons." after sharing this little bit of wisdom the phone became silent except for the beep of his game and my head wondering why do guy obsess over those games???!

I used to have a pretty green van... had horrible gas mileage and was possessed the car fixing place named her Christine after the movie. I miss that car. Before the new place my parents sold her so my mother could get a new car, and passed her old one down, Tori (short for Taurus Jujube named her) was behind in the car payments so now I pay 350 twice a month to catch up... I love Tori but I miss Christine.

EBay.... I am hooked. I thought I had gotten over my addiction and was okay to look at eBay again but found myself trying to bid on things! Things I don't need. Its a shoppers nightmare and heaven all at once.

and in the same line as EBay- Bento Boxes... I am obsessed with them When Jujube stays at my place I make her bento lunches, when she doesn't she calls me and asks for them anyways. she loves them! Daddy not so happy about them but as long as she loves them I am happy and can justify why I spend 30 plus on a tiny little box from Japan.

So I strongly believe that I have failed my math test. I did study and try but the last two problems of a three problem test made no sense to me and so I guessed the answers. I know that I failed and need to do better on test 2.

I have this guy friend I've known forever we used to work together and I was giving the nickname Bunny, because of my bounciness, random jumping from topic to topic and the fact I was (am still am) obsessed with Sailor Moon. He now has EVERY single person that knows both of us at my college calling me Bunny and thinking that it is my real name! I wouldn't mind but he decided that now that He has everyone calling me Bunny he will call me Angel which causes much confusion and annoyance for me because I have to explain.

Ain't That a Kick In the Head?

So I am sitting at work listening to Dean Martin and working. Now that I've done my Meme's for today I am going to do my update.

This not been my week.

I have had a broken laptop, the power cord is broken so I can't charge it which wouldn't be a problem but my Psych paper (all 15 pages) was on that lap top, and now I can't get it! Then my car had a flat, which wouldn't have been bad but I didn't notice it until I heard the scraping sound on the ground, which has probably messed up the engine now.

On a good note I have made a really good alfredo sauce from scratch, I used a can of cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk, onions, garlic and flour. It was actually REALLY good.

I have a research paper to due by the end of Semester I am thinking about using Bewitched episodes and doing psycoanization on them and seeing what I get. It might be interesting.
