1. Did you have a favorite blanket or toy as a kid? If so, do you still have it?

I did and Do, I have a ratty old Bear named Sammy, I have had it from the day I was born.

2. Do you dream in color?

I think I do, but not sure lol

 

3. How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller?

I am 5’4’’, I like my height but  I would love to loose some weight.

 

4. If you could have anyone's (celeb or other) voice as the guide on your GPS, who would it be?

hmmmm Gerard Butler?

 

5. Do you return your shopping cart to the corral or leave it wherever in the parking lot?

Depends on where I am actually I try to return to the corral but have been known to leave it if I am in a hurry.

Because I Could be Super Woman….

 

I always wanted to be Super Woman… something about her just made me a happy camper.. I don’t know if it was the bracelets, or the invisible Plane, or the Lasso of  Truth, but I wanted to be her.

If I couldn’t be Her, I wanted to be Sam, For some reason I was determined to be Samantha, I even taught myself to twitch my nose.

So why am I mentioning this?

 

Well Prue called me her own Personal Super Woman the other day and I laughed it off but still, I have been rather heroic lately lol.

There was the time Prue’s tire blew on the express way, I turned around picked her and my niece ( I need to figure out what to call her lol) up and rushed to see if we could buy a tire, then me Prue and my dad went and changed the tire.

Which brings us to yesterday, I was asleep and resting my fractured ankle at 9 am when the phone rings, didn’t recognize the number so I didn’t answer it. they left a message and I checked it, after the first few words I was calling them back I mean what would you do when the voice says “This is the Forrest Acre Police Department”? I called back and found out the Prue and her daughter were stranded on the roadside, they had been pulled over and the car towed… I jumped up grabbed my crutches and drove to get them.

Then later we drove to Orangeburg, and Charleston to get her Fiancée and then back to Columbia (about 150  mi each way) then up to Winnsboro to get her son for the weekend.

I tried to explain to Prue that Family is Family and you help family but she said that I was her personal Super Hero lol.

Five Question Friday!

Okay so Once again I am WAY behind on my blogging lol but I have a good reason!!

I will explain why and what’s going on after Five Q Friday!

Okay so this Weeks Questions are:

1. What were your school colors?

We were the Purple Blazers (referred to as the Purple Ponies or Horses lol) but our colors were Purple and Silver.

2. What's the best compliment you ever received?

I am not sure… I am actually not great at receiving compliments, or even noticing when I get one. I tend to only remember the ones about my hair lol… although the First thing Kensei said when we started dating still stands out in my mind! I was always a very shy type girl lol and He made a comment after our first date about how I am very cute when I blush, and he still makes me blush every chance he can!

3. Do you buy cheap or expensive toilet paper?

I LOVE expensive toilet Paper, I am an Angel Soft, Kleenex type girl… but unfortunately because I am on a budget now lol I have been buying Scott Tissue!

4. Have you ever had a surprise party thrown for you? Or have you had one for someone else?

nope to both of those… I never had a surprise party, lol in fact I only had about 3 birthday parties, but I wish I could have one!

5. What is one material possession that you "can't live without"?

this is a tough one, I am torn between my phone and my laptop (her name is Lexie.) I could probably live with out my phone, although I would be tough… I would die without Lexie!

Okay so on to the drama that is my life. I fractured my ankle the other day so I have been resting a lot. been working (yea for having a job!!) and more drama with my mother and Jujube. My father has finally gotten a lawyer, we drove up to see them the other weekend and were informed that we were not allowed to see jujube because my mom said so. My father said he would not give her the money she wanted without his time with her and we were told to leave.

Two days later mom’s boyfriend sent my father a no trespassing letter. My mom informed us that jujube would not be going to NY for the ceremony to burry my papa, with us, in fact she would not be going at all.

Jujube doesn’t look well to me, or my father, she has always been a very healthy looking girl, a dark tan, and fit. when we saw her she was very pale and you could see her cheekbones. I wish that my mom would just back off, she tells jujube things like my father doesn't love her and that he is mentally and emotionally abusive, and he is not… its just a really sad situation.

Anyways I will be writing more and let you all know how things turn out!

I don’t know If I can pick just one song… lol.

Well In high school (in reference to my last post) my theme song was ‘Cause I’m A Blonde by Julie Brown:

But right now I am thinking that I am closest to the Song from the new Disney Movie Princess and the Frog:

 

I would say it represents me right now because I work a lot, and well everything I do, or consider doing is revolving around getting where I want to be, and doing what I want to be doing in the future!

And like she says at the beginning, I don’t have time for “dancing, that’s just gonna have to wait a while” because the quicker I can get what I need the quicker I can get to Memphis and in my new school!

High School….

 

 

Wow lets see what I remember about high school… I think I am going to tell the Great Big Purse of Everything story.

 

As I mentioned in my Introduction, I take my purse EVERYWHERE, in HS I had a cute little jean bag with pink Glitter Butterflies and Hot pink lining. I LOVED LOVED LOVED that purse. I could fit everything and the kitchen sink in that purse!  I had a brick (for protection,) At least two soda bottles, once romance novel, two wallets, three ids, enough pills for a drug store, and an office’s worth of glittery pens, and that purse wasn’t even that big!

 

I had a large group of people that I hung out with, and Only a few of us were Seniors and able to go get lunch. So my friend and I got everyone’s orders  and went to Wendy’s for burgers. We ordered about 30 burgers and fries to take back, when they started to hand us the bags I knew we would never make it to the courtyard with just the two of us carrying them, so I started loading the burgers in to the Great Big Purse of Everything, and while the manager gaped in awe I fit all 30 into the purse.

When we got to the courtyard i just passed around my purse for the food.

It's Time For A Blog Bash!!

It is time for the blog bash at Not Your Average Teen:

So let’s get started!

I am Angel, (well that’s one of my nick-names anyways) I don’t write under my own name because, well it is unique and I don’t want a lot of people I know to find my blog.

Almost all of the people in my blog are referred to by nick names or code names, the only person who is not is my fiancée Kensei.

 

I am a 23 year old college student, I work full time at a hotel, (although it is a different one from when I started this blog) I am the oldest of three kids. My mother is insane… and not in the good or funny way. She is downright not nice. I have a little brother, Airforce, who is 18 and well his name is Airforce because once he gets out of college that's what he wants to do! I also have a 12 year old sister, Jujube, who I pretty much raised until these past three months when my mother decided to step up and took her to live with her new boyfriend and herself. I have a great dad, whom I love very much.

I  want a large family, though birth or adoption. I have PCOS and was told that it would be very nearly impossible to have kids when I was 14 years old. I still want them, though and will try once I am married.

I am never far from my phone, or my purse, there is a joke among my friends that I take it everywhere, I even had it when I broke my leg in the bathroom!

So that’s me in a nutshell! Now it’s time for the Blog Bash Questions!

 

1.) Why do you blog?

I blog because I like to talk, and think and have kept a journal all my life, and sadly my journal entries look like my blog sometimes, where I go a month without saying anything and then apologize for my absence!  There is always something floating around in my brain and I felt the need to blurt it out!

 

2.) What do you blog about?

I blog about everything! I don’t have a niche and I like to talk, or write, as the case may be what I think!

 

3.) What do you find to be the biggest reward you get from blogging?

Reading about other people, I love to step in other peoples worlds and see how they go about life.  So blogging for me is about connections and about giving some other person a chance to do what I do to them with my life!

4.) How long have you been blogging?

ha-ha I actually had to look at my blog for that! I started January 18th 2009, and I love it!

 

5.) Let's hear the story behind your blog title! :)

Ready for the sad bit? I don’t really have a story, I was watching Confessions of a Call Girl, and Confessions of a Social Climber, and like the  Confessions bit, and just figured that I would add in my nick name, which became my pen name and well that’s how I evolved!

Gosh It has been a while… So I have a new job and I love it! I just need to convince a friend to start working there soon lol because we need one more person.

 

I still don’t have my dog unfortunately I have to get 150 and a vet fee before I can get her…

 

I wanted to just let you all know I am alive and that I am here…
