Happy Monday!!!

I should be writing a paper for psych now, but I think I will wait an hour. (Manic Monday's are below the actually post.)

I was told the other day that Piper's husband ( they have only been married a little while) Will be shipped overseas as soon as he gets out of AIT. this is very sad news, Piper hasn't really seen him since they got married. He went to Basic the day after the wedding and when he finishes he will have one day with her that they will spend driving to Ft. Lennerwood MS. Then after his three months there they will have one day until he gets on the plane to go to where they are sending him for at least a year.

The good side of this is that Piper wants to move to TN with me when I go. I have been a little worried about moving and not knowing anyone. Believe it or not I can be a little shy when I don't know anyone. This that I will have a friend. Another upside is that Piper gets a housing allowance, and so we can get a really good apartment between her money and mine. Both of us will be attending school, I will be working too.

So I was looking at the apartments and realized that I have expensive taste! More on them later.

Do you screen your phone calls?

Yes I do, but only if I don't recognize the number, I have the people who I call and who call me in my phonebook, If your name doesn't pop up I won't answer until I know who you are.

When was the last time you lost your temper?

I try really hard not to loose my temper, I think the last time was a fight with my mother.

When you're lost, do you ask for directions?

depends on how lost, I tend to drive a few more blocks after realizing I am lost and then ask for directions.

I did not start work at 11 and work until 7 then proceed to go out to eat and hang around with friends until 1pm when I realized I had to be back at work at three and had no sleep.

I did not help two high schoolers skip school to go to their sister's wedding, DANGEROUSLY close to crossing state lines with minors. Not only would this be wrong, but it is also illegal.

I did not absolve myself of the guilt by saying there was really no reason as I was not the one supposed to drop them off at school that I would be knowing they did not have parental permission or even that they had school!

I did not plan to eat meat at M's Reception as she is not having her official wedding until December, but as I am following traditional Lent for Lent this year eating meat is against my Lentness? (Is that a word?)

M Did not get married this week. and if she did she would not have waited until afterward to tell her parents.

I did not see a completely nude man while working... because if I did the horrifying image would still be in my mind.

I did not completely forget about my psych paper during spring break.

I did not plan to do many things, like clean my room, car, and bathroom, and do my papers, and book reports during spring break, and only do two of the and those two were out of necessity. (clean room and car.)

Are you a saver or spender?

I am a TOTAL spender.. I am trying desperately to become a saver, but I always see something I can't live with out. If anyone has any saving tips please please please pass them on!!!

Do you prefer to walk around barefoot in your home? Socks? Shoes?

I prefer barefoot, I don't like wearing socks or shoes more than I have too, I just don't like the way they feel. Although when I am at Kensei's house I hate having my shoes off, I guess its more of a case of I know what is on my floors vs other people's floors.

Do you talk to yourself?

All the freaking time! I have arguments with myself and entire conversations with myself, and I give myself advice, and reading this as I type I am worried that perhaps I belong in a room with padded walls.

What would you do with an extra hour each day?

Depends on the Day but mostly I would Sleep.

Do you wear a watch? If so, tell us about it. If not, how do you keep track of time?

I don't wear a watch exactly, I do carry my cell phone and well maybe this will help explain:

If it was possible, would you want to know how many days you had left to live?

Yes. I would. I would want to know so that I could do some of the things I want to do. I would because well, when you die, that's the end of this life. No matter what religion you believe in, I would want to make sure this one ended right.

I Wasn't depressed when I was driving home Sunday morning.

I did not think I was going to have plenty of time to think up a really good Not Me Monday.

It's Monday, It's Monday, It's Monday again! wait why am I happy about this???

now for what i did not do this week...

I did not finish my psych paper with only four minuets left until the midnight deadline

I did not have to deal with the cops last night at work because a guest who was actually not in the hotel called them to say he was having trouble with the staff taking money.

The only two employees on yesterday were me and maintenance we did not have a great laugh about the fact the police called and then we did not offer the very nice sheriff part of our pizza hut pasta (which incidentally does not taste reasonably good. just not as good as they say it does)

I did not come home after work and staying out all night the night before and working all day before that to o to sleep on the floor and not wake up until 6:30 this morning.

I did not leave the door to my room open and the dogs did not apparently jump on the bed and they did not break said bed so I am not sleeping on a mattress on the floor.

What's the most embarrassing song on your iPod (or music collection)?

The most embarrassing song on my iPod....well its actually a collection of theme songs from the 80s and 90s cartoons, as well as the soundtrack of DDR and the soundtrack to Avenue Q. in an off note I have the music video of the I wanna be bad song by Willa Ford...

How much time do you spend each day in your commute? (Or if you don't work outside the house, how much time do you spend in your car or other preferred mode of transportation?)

I spend about 30 min to school, then 30 back and then 30 to work unless I worked audt like I do on monday and tuesday night then its 30 min to work, 10 to school 4 hours of sleep in the car and 30 min home.

What's your favorite wardrobe item and why?

This is hard.... I have a dress I bought way back when that looks like something that came off the red carpet in the 40s.. I love it, but never wear it so I am not sure its considered wardrobe.

I also have a pair of boots that I borrowed from a friend she said I could keep and I love them, but don't wear them all that often because I broke the heel and haven't taken them to be fixed yet.

1. I so did not become obsessed with a tv show that has been on for four seasons, and stay up all night watching online episodes with korean subtitles.

2. I so Did not put off writting my paper for Psychology class.

3. I also did not burst into to tears and cry for three hours when I realized that I have lost all battery power and couldn't get the paper off the broken laptop.

4. I did not then borrow my brother's and mother's laptop in consecutive nights and put off the paper to watch Psych Episodes.

5. I did not pass out in the car and make the security guards at school knock on my windows every 15 min to make sure I was still alive. (I really Didn't ask them to do this they did it of their own violation.)

6. I did not call in late to work with the excuse of a flat tire when I just wanted to sleep an extra hour.

7. I did not expect to actually get one the next day

8. I did not pay $85 for the replacement charger for the broken laptop

9. I did not tell avoid my ex BFF A who I have not been avoiding for months now because she wants me to give her $$95 for a gucci or prada or dolce crib that I only offered to help her with $25 for.

10. I did not sleep at work last night! Honest!!!!

Manic friday?

Well I stumbled across this new meme and even though it is not monday I thought I would do it! So being me I am going to Back Track and do a Few of the past week ones to!!
Manic Monday #151

What do you do to make yourself feel better when you are sick?

I like to lie in bed and read a really good romance novel if I am in SC by myself, if I am in TN with KenseiI like to cuddle up with him on the couch and he rubs my head, lol its almost like a petting a kitty kat motion but I find it relaxing.

What is the most amazing weather you've ever seen?

We had a summer Storm in SC once, where the wind was so strong and it was raining so hard the streets were flooding, and right in the middle of the storm, even though it was still pouring and windy the sun was shinning so bright it was just georgous.

Do you listen to music or talk radio in the car?
Music, but I like to listen to it on my MP3 player mostly, and it is usually Big Band, Rat Pack, Sinatra or 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s music, I'm not fond of the stuff now.

If you were to name the most creative outlet that you have, what would it be?

Writing, not usually in a blog but I write stories, that I never finish

What spot in your body would you say is the center of your emotional being?

hmm, this is a hard one, the center of my emotional being, would be my gut, most of my emotions start there so i guess that would make it the center.

What do you think is the secret to a tranquil soul?
The Secret to a tranquil soul is to not obsess over everything (What I do) and to be able to relax in any situation

Do you have any idiosyncrasies or unusual quirks when it comes to food and/or eating?
oh yes! I can't stand it when people talk with their mouths full, and when we eat out I tend to order food and then take almost the entire meal and put it in a to-go box and bring it home to eat there this drives Kensei and my family insane!!

Have you ever written love letters?

Yes, I have written them to Kensei, and actually the boyfriend before him

If so, do you still have any of them?

Well, I don't have them, but Kensei says he still has a few in boxes somewhere, (He's a pack rat but not a very emotional one)

How easy or difficult is it for you to say you're sorry?

Alot harder than I would think, I have a lot of pride and swallowing it to admit I was wrong is one mf my biggest flaws
