Day 3 What Makes Me Me

 

This is a little more complicated for me, I am a pretty complex ball of nerves, obsessions, confidence, doubts and dreams.

I tried to ask Kensei but he shrugged and kept playing his game,

so here is what I think makes me, me.

I am Italian and French and family means everything to me. I love my friends as if they were my family and no one and nothing would change that.  I am always willing to look on and for the bright side of life, and tear up at silly commercials.

I dream about doing things and going places but inside I know I am a homebody and unless I won the lottery I’d never actually go.

I see the world though  rose colored glasses and I am okay with that. I would much rather believe that a person is good than bad. it is hard for me to see things in shades of grey, I tend to be a white /black  right/wrong kind of girl.

30 Days Of Blogging Day 2 My Fear

Day 2 is all about what our biggest fear is…

I have a lot of fears, I am scared of snakes and spiders and thunder although I love lightening, but my biggest fear is disappointing people I think. I have plans for myself and I will go out of my way to make them happen to avoid disappointing myself as well as I will go out of my way to not disappoint others. One problem I have had for a while is the inability to say no, I will work extra shifts when I don’t have the time, or sign up for things so I don’t disappoint people.

30 Day Challenge Day 6 Super Hero's

So I thought and thought and thought about this one, Batman because well he’s awesome? Green Lantern because of the magic glowing ring? So I decided on two, Because I couldn’t pick just one,

First is a conventional Hero-

Batman, I mean he has no powers, no alien backstory, and still fights crime and looks good doing it!!

I mean Come on he’s cute, smart and rich a girl wouldn’t have to settle for him!!

And because I did Love Green Lantern Growing up here’s what happens when Batman got one!!!

 

 

And my second Favorite Superhero isn’t quite a hero exactly…. but It’s Doctor Who… I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show, I love The Doctor, and I will admit to bawling like an infant in a ball at the end of season 2.  He’s smart, dangerous, funny, and just seems like the type to draw you in.. I think I can honestly say if the Tardis showed up in front of me and The Doctor asked me to go with him, I would in a second, a millisecond, I don’t even think I’d think twice.

Okay so I am skipping days 3, 5 and 7 because when My computer decided to be nice, I lost all of my photos.

So Day 4: A Habit I wish I didn’t have:

I wish that I didn’t do a lot of things, I am a compulsive shopper, in fact I have an Addiction. I also bite my nails, although I am working desperately at stopping. but those are not the habits I am thinking of. I have a tendency to talk before I think… and I do it a lot. I am always saying things that my brain is screaming no to as the words are leaving my mouth…

but there ya go. my habit.

The meaning behind your Blog name

I didn’t have any creative process when naming my blog honestly:

I was watching Confessions of A Call Girl (with Rose from Doctor Who) and just finished Reading Confessions of a Sociopathic Social Climber  when I started blogging, I  liked the way that it sounded and added my nickname Angel in and that’s how Confessions of A College Angel was born!

But I think with out my blog being what it is I could have never done confessions posts like this one!

Ignore the date and time stamp, it was a funky camera, this is me and Jujube at the beach last month.

Okay Random fact time!

1. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to read, if you saw my Vlog then you know about my book obsession, I honestly think as long as I had a never ending supply of books, I could exist without almost anything!

2.  I have two favorite seasons and they are my favorites for the same yet vastly different reasons.  I love Winter and Summer. I love the snow and the ice in winter, and the Christmas decorations.  yes I am the girl who’s house is decorated on the day after thanksgiving and has been playing Christmas music from November 1st.  But then I love the sun of summer and the pools and swimming and just general relaxedness.

3. I used to bite my nails, I still catch myself every now and then, but I have found the best way to stop biting it to paint them a different color EVERY day, and anytime I get a chip.

4. which leads into this one I have a slight obsession with nail polish.

5. I love candles that smell, I will burn them all the time, but I don’t like the baked goods smells.

6. I will not watch horror flicks, or movies about zombies or giant bugs, or movies like final destination.

7. Even though I am going to school for photography and psychology and I want to maybe work in a practice or own a gallery one day, I have always wanted to be a mom, more than anything.

8. except when I was younger when I wanted to be a princess, although I wanted to be a princess with kids so I guess that counts!

9. I am an early bird, my natural clock will wake me up at 5-6 am

10. but I can usually go right back to sleep with no problem if I’m still tired.

11. I know MANY police officers because of my job, I see them at least 2 times EVERY Saturday, because we have to call them for something.

12. I do love my job even though I gripe about it

13. I desperately want to move to Memphis.

14. I love to bake and cook more than anything

15. I can always get people over to my house by tossing an I’m cooking (insert food here) into the conversation.

16: I love kids shows like H2O just add water, and Victorious, but I also love grown up shows like Doctor Who!
