I am going on Vacation!!! I have been looking forward to this trip for a few months now. I am going to be gone a week so unfortunatly Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop, Keely's RTT and Mingle Will have to be with out me for one week. (I am going to try to at least get on and read and maybe comment if i can make time I promise that I will post pictures of anything that you guys ask for and somethings you don't!

The trip is going to be by car, Piper and I are going to TN, and MO to see Kensei and ArmyBoi. I will post one of the hotel that we stay at in MO it is supposed to be amazing!

Have you ever wandered about genetic mutation? I’m not talking X-man stuff like claws and knocking people out with touch but like kids stuff, you know a way to become the little mermaid?
Piper and I had a conversation the other day about if they ever figure out a way to make it so we can breathe in water without needing equipment, (not gills necessarily but not saying no if they are covered decently) How we would be the very first to sign up and how our kids would thank us for it!

I love summer but I hate heat, does that make sense?

I wish that I could have seen my cousin on Monday, he was driving down to Parris Island and stopped by the house sadly I wasn’t home because I worked till 3 and even though it was five I am still car less and had to wait until dad came and got me and dad didn’t want to leave until Erik got there and so I didn’t leave work till 6

I love people who have the names of Disney characters.

I have had my kids names picked out for 6 years now, but Kensei won’t let me name any of them what I want

Domino’s pizza smells good.

Why doesn’t SC have tornado sirens? WE get at least 50 in Lexington a year.

I can’t wait until next Tuesday One week from today exactly, I will be on my vacation and enjoying myself.

Also I am going to have super long hair I will take a picture and post it if you guys want.

Kensei’s dad refuses to let me stay in a hotel, I think that is sweet. But I do want to stay at least one night in one.

I am looking forward to having a week to myself.

Instead I am sitting at work in what is actually decent temperature for once weather, (It is only 89 according to the thermometer at work a record low actually) eating Domino's pizza and wondering why I am here when I could be at that beach.

I have always had an obsession with the water, so i think I should move to the beach.

Why would you say something like that???

I am very upset! My friend is 23 years old and she is BEAUTIFUL! She is one of those people who can wear size 4 clothes and still eat a whole pizza and aren't all stuck up about it.
That's not what made me angry.

I just I should tell a little back story:

The other day I was shopping, (Yes my shoppers class hasn't been located yet) and I saw the most darling bathing suit. So I convinced my friend to get it. It is a two piece bikini but both cheeks of her behind are FULLY covered as well as her chest the only thing it has is a sparkly little play boy bunny on the top. Remember she is 23!!

Her sister is wearing a bikini that actually covers less and she is 16. (this is relevant)

Today while packing for a trip she had misplaced her suit, now she wasn't bringing it because this was a church trip but she did want it located. Her mother asked if she would be bringing on her big trip to see her husband and she said yes.

Her mother was very upset and told her that she shouldn't be dressing and flaunting herself like a little Whore!!!! Why?? What would make a mother call her daughter that and does she not see the suit her 16 year old is wearing??

My friend reasoned that it must have been because married women shouldn't wear bikini's. why not?? if you look good in one why should you not wear one??

Anyone??

Yes I have long hair, and yes I want it longer. I am sorry that you had to spend a few min to actually trim the long hair and then tell me that the extensions are going to be $10 a row. I hope that you had a great day after I left.

I don't understand how you don't check ID's until AFTER three UNDERAGE girls bought something and then are all rude. I was just browsing with my sister and watched a group of HIGH SCHOOLER's with id's around their necks buy several items and then when my sister and I walked around the corner you screamed at us for ID. Why did you not get theirs? WHY did you sell them those outfits. Where could teenagers possibly have the need to wear "sexy school girl" "Hot Construction Worker" and "Wanda the Witch" outfits?? and why are your parents not kicking your buts???

Sunday, a Dreamy Boring day

Today has been a very boring day. I woke up to the ring of my cell phone while my mother yelled at me. I then finished two books and wished my life was more like the ones in my books. Then I finished reading Jujube A Little Princess and realized that my high expectations had actually started when I was very young.

I also went to do a Sunday meme, and it also linked to my boredom today. While Piper is a horror movie buff I am the musical girl. Sit me in front of Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire any movie with singing and dancing no matter what age it was intended and you won't hear a peep from me except maybe a giggle now and then. I love any musical I can get my hands on.

I have always thought that I lived in the wrong time, I would feel perfectly at home almost anywhere in history, even without the Internet.
Almost every song I own is from a musical. I love to watch old movies with Cary Grant, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, and Frank Sinatra. I have always been obsessed.
My mother blames my grandmother for making her watch them while she was pregnant and for the firs Christmas (I was born in September) Watching White Christmas forty times while holding me, apparently family legend is that during that Christmas I would only stop crying if I heard Bing Crosby.

I always used to joke that my kids would grow up watching the movies I always loved so much.
I have always been able to take a situation and turn it into something I saw in a musical once.

There is a reason that this disjointed post is like this, I was looking at the Sunday Meme's and saw this prompt.

MY life a movie??? A musical of course. Then I started thinking about how dull my life is and decided to stick to the actual questions. I would want my part played by.... well a now actress Jessica Alba, (I know I look nothing like her) and for Kensei I want Gene Kelly or Bing Crosby (I know I know, but this is fantasy right??) Piper could be played by Ginger Rodgers, Jujube I would want played by Shirley Temple, well I could cast the whole thing! As for the title I am not sure... I wrote a story once called a Series of unfortunate Mishaps. maybe something along those lines.

Writer's Workshop: Paranoid? Who's paranoid??

It's time for the wonderful, the amazing, the beautiful, generous, all around perfect Mama Kat's writer's workshop.

Before I get into the prompts I wanted to let you all know that Piper and I have made our first post on Because I said So.. So if you are feeling a little wanderlust wander on over there and read all about how we rock and horror movies that try to kill me.

Okay now that that is out of the way I was reading Mama Kat's prompts and well they were a little too serious for me this week, all of my posts lately have been a serious twist and I need a little funny. So I am writing three of them:

2.) When I grow up I want to be like...

This was a little hard for me because I am not sure who I want to be when I grow up. I am not even sure WHAT I want to be when I grow up

I know that I want to be feisty and fiery like Catherine Zeta Jones in Zorro's one and two.




I also never want to lose my romantic side. I want to always believe in love like Meg Ryan in Sleepless in Seattle, I want to be willing to give up everything like Kate and Leopold and French Kiss and I want to keep my sense of humor and love of books like You've Got Mail.































There are so many characteristics that I want but am not sure of yet. This I will revisit later



4.) List 5 things you like to do while camping...or 5 places you'd like to go.
I don't really do the outdoors so here are five places I want to go! In pictures none the less:

I want to go to Scotland:
Particularly The highlands I have read so much about them that I really want to just visit if only once.
I also want to go to Japan, this would be mostly for shopping I love everything Japanese and going there would be a dream come true.
I also would love to go to Venice The city of magic and water. I love Italy, Sicily and Greece because my Nana was born there I want to visit more than anything.
Rome for the same reason as Venice my Papa was born there
And I want to go back to NYC I love the city and I miss it. I lived there for a while and well I am I not sure I'd live there again I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to visit.

What Am I Paranoid About??

Everything!! I am one of those obsessive people who worry themselves into early graves. I am Paranoid about anything happening to Jujube, I make her call me all the time.
I am Paranoid about classes I tend to psych myself out before tests.
I am Paranoid about all sorts of things. While I am optimistic by nature I am also the girl who will jump right to the worst possible conclusions. I didn't hear from Prue for a week once after she made an odd comment to me, She had told me that she wouldn't be home for a while. I didn't hear from her for a week by the time she called I was picturing her and my niece in a car accident with twisted metal and bloody bodies. There was one time where Jujube wasn't home and I went right to someone had kidnapped her. I like to be sunny but with everything out there I do jump right to the bad I am sad to admit.


Okay one last thing and I will let you go, Poor Jujube had a problem last night she was bending down to hang up a towel and slammed her head onto the door hinge, there is a slightly deep halfmoon in her forehead now. I am not sure what to make of it. Also I am slightly annoyed with Herbal Essences right now. With my Paranoid worrying I get a lot of grey hair so I have been coloring my hair from the end of high school. I wanted to go natural and bought two boxes of ASH BROWN and when I finished my hair was JET BLACK!!!! I must have picked the only two boxes of black masquerading as brown. It doesn't look to bad but it is a shock. I will get Piper to post a picture later.

Poor Jujube's head after the band-aid went on. Don't you just feel sorry for her?

Well I have a lot of things to do this weekend! I get to Work!! (Everyone clap your hands and cheer for me) My boss has temporarily promoted me to Manager. Not that I don't already do the job of one, deal with the customers, adjust rates, buy supplies for the property, make the schedules for the front desk and answer my phone at all hours of the night when the night audit girls can't figure out how to change a rate from reg, to military. But back to my temporary promotion, my boss has decided that because he will be on vacation if I make myself available to cover any shifts answer any questions that he will give me an additional 60 in cash for every shift that needs to be covered as well as being on the clock. I am okay with this because I am going on my trip at the end of this month and need all the money I can get my hands on.

I was reading one of the blogs I follow and there was a question that really aught my eye:
Do you fear getting older? Having another Birthday make you realize how much time you are loosing and you never got to do the things you like with your kids/or take them some where special?

I had to stop and give this serious thought I don't fear getting older exactly, I just wish that it would slow down. I know a lot of people who read this will be like your 22! What do you know about feeling old! But I do. I help take care of my sister and act like her mom, And well when I was younger, in high school and below birthdays would take for ever to get here I would count down the days until the big one for months in advance tell everyone "it's three months till my birthday!" now I don't realize that its my birthday until the week before if I am lucky. My 22nd one it was the day of before I realized it. I dread the big 3-0 and I really want to be married with kids by the 25th, (Yeah I know two years is wishful thinking.)

Piper had the brilliant Idea to create a blog for me and her to write the things that happen to us! I think it is a good one and while nothing has been posted as of this moment we will hopefully have something soon!! So with in the next few months if you get bored mosey on over to "Because I said so..." and leave a comment or two!!

I get one day off this week. I am just super happy about that!

Keely's post had this in it. I will now have nightmares for months not only would I drive into a ditch but I would probably take half the highway with me!

Extra Extra!

I am not a reviewer by nature but I do know that when one finds something that works well spreading the word is a good thing so on that note

"Extra, Extra Read all about it!" I was walking through Wal Mart at 12:30 am the other night buying groceries, (lots of things in that trip but I will go into them on random Tuesday!) I was walking down the drink isle with my dad who has forbidden all soda, and sugary drink products in the house and I saw these!



These babies not only have no calories and 5 carbs or is it no carbs and five calories... either way they sound great from a health standpoint.

I have both flavors mixed in two water bottles right now. I went to the gas station on my way to work and bought two smart waters, I Love these waters because they taste pure to me as well as they have the cute little sippy tops. each bottle is one pint of water or 23.8 fl oz which is a little more than the directions say but I don't like a super strong taste. I have finished the Peach White Tea flavor and it was Delicious I don't know about the skin difference yet but I can see myself drinking this everyday, and at the cheap price of 2.00 for 10 packets that's not bad at all roughly .20 cents a packet.

I tried several other mix brands and this one dissolves very easy with little shaking. I was a little worried because it looked as if it was going to clump up but settled by the time I was in the car.

If you are looking for a way to be a little more healthy you should definitely try the Crystal Light Skin Essentials in both flavors!
