I will admit that when Birchbox teams up with magazines I LOVE IT!! I was particularly happy this month because they started doing a thing where you get to PICK one of your samples. Because I get 2 boxes a month I figured that I would get one of each (although honestly I regret not getting 2 polishes)
Anyways Birchbox once again teamed up with Women’s Health and sent out the boxes for July!
In my first box I got a sample of the Balance Me Wonder Under Eye cream:
This is a decent sized sample for eye cream, I haven’t used it much yet, but I like the smell so far!
Then I got this sample in BOTH of my boxes this month, a 2 set of the Beauty Protector Protect & Treat Mask. I like the smell but the packaging is a little interesting for a hair mask sample.
I got the LAQA & Co Sheer Lip Lube Pencil in Menatour --
My Choice of the Month for this box, was a Ruffian nail polish from the Rapture Collection – in the Color Relic which is a pretty silvery shade, and I got an extra of a polish removing towel let.
I also got a sample of the Suki foaming cleanser I LOVE the way this smells like lemon candy!!
For my second box, I did participate in the Birchbox Plus program, occasionally they will send out an email where you can get an additional item added on to you birchbox for a discounted price. As I have been doing a lot of things that keep me away from phone chargers AND I plan on traveling in the month of August I got the Triple C Designs Power Card: Birchbox says : “No bigger than a credit card,this rechargeable battery will help you power up your gadgets no matter where you are and works for your phone, iPod, portable speakers, and more.
I will say it is super cute, BUT it only charges my phone about halfway before it is out of juice, which is good but not great.
I also got the Protect & treat mask in this box as well.
My choice for box number 2 was the Cynthia Rowley Beauty creamy lip stain in Sugar.
it is a pretty my lips but better pink, but it tastes and smells like sunscreen, so not sure how much I’ll actually use it.
I got a NaoBay Body radiance lotion- 
it’s lotion.
And a Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Peel – I am excited for this, because while I doubt it does more than make pretty balls of skin, I do love trying these peels out! 
My beauty Extra in this box is going to be used next month the night before/morning of M’s wedding!

Oh I would have loved that charger tonight while at dinner when both my phone and my daughters went dead lol. I have not got an email for an extra yet but hope to one day.

I used to get birchboxes but stopped because I ended up with so many little samples that I'd forget to use.
This post brought back childhood memories for me. 40+ years ago my Mom belonged to a club in which she received a box full of beauty products each month. Thanks for the memories.
